Multiple entries for same contact in Contacts

Hi.
When a contact is a member of several roles, the contact is shown more than once in the Contacts list.
Actually the number of times the contact is a member of a role.
The listing does not show to which role the contact belongs.

Is this by design, or an error ??

This is likely expected behavior, as the contact list displays entries per role membership. If a contact belongs to multiple roles, it can appear multiple times. However, it can be confusing since the role isn’t shown in the list.

You may want to check if there’s a setting to group contacts uniquely or display roles, otherwise it could be worth suggesting as an improvement.

Never heard of this, nor seen it. I run two different instances of Admidio and in neither of them contacts are shown more than once, while several contacts have multiple roles.

Hi again.
I found that not all my contacts behaves this way, so I've been playing around.

Found that:
Having a contact belonging to only one group, assigning one more.
Checking, contact shown only once in Contacts and no change date shown.

Goes into group assigning for the contact and CHANGING THE START DATE of the new group to something else.
The contact now shown twice in Contacts, but one entry shows the change date as it was before, the other change date is empty.

Going into the contacts, the change date is the same in both entries.

Can't quote figure out what's going on, but I guess multiple database entries for group relations.
