Easier Role & Permission Management?
Hi everyone, I’m using Admidio and really like it so far, but managing roles and permissions can get a bit complicated with larger groups. Is there a simpler way to handle multiple roles or view permissions more clearly? I’d love to hear how others are dealing with this or if there are any useful tips.

Re: Easier Role & Permission Management?
this is likely expected behavior. Users can sometimes see basic contact entries but get a “no permission” message when opening profiles.
To fully hide contacts, remove access to the Contacts module or adjust role permissions (especially default roles like “Registered users” or event-related roles).
If it still happens, check which roles the user has—there’s probably a permission coming from there.

You can use the "Category report" and put all the rows as columns. In the csv export the column the member is assigned to will have an 'X' in it.
That's at least how I've done it and then export it to Excel/Google Sheets to manipulate it into something I can print for the folks that like to have things in hand.

Re: Easier Role & Permission Management?
I’m also running into the same issue with larger groups where role/permission management becomes hard to keep track of, especially when users belong to multiple roles at the same time. The “Category report + CSV export” approach mentioned by RVice sounds like a practical workaround for now, especially when combined with Excel/Sheets for clearer visualization.

Re: Easier Role & Permission Management?
I ran into the same thing as our organization grew. What helped was keeping the number of roles as small as possible and assigning permissions through broader group roles instead of creating lots of specialized ones. It also makes reviewing access much easier over time.

Re: Easier Role & Permission Management?
Trying to manage coursework, quizzes, and those weekly deadlines can get tricky for students who are juggling other responsibilities too. In busy semesters, a lot of learners end up searching for do my online class like they are trying to catch up quickly, while also hoping for practical ways to stay aligned academically. If they use decent planning, an organized study style, and dependable academic support, it becomes a lot easier to handle the workload in a smoother way. When you keep showing up consistently, hit the due dates, and take advantage of learning resources that are already available, the overall stress levels drop. Then productivity usually goes up, and the progress stays steady during the whole online learning experience.
